You stood there in a grey button-down shirt and jeans that were dark blue

waiting for me to come up to you

I remember this day so vividly because of that dress shirt you were wearing

Then I approached you and
you wrapped your arms around my waist while your hand gently touched the small of my back

The hairs on my neck stood up

You sweetly kissed my cheek and told me I looked stunning

“I have never seen anything more beautiful”

you said while piercing me with those dark brown eyes of yours

Although I’ve heard it all before

This time felt different, like you put a spell on me

I couldn't stop smiling but I tried to play it cool

This was our first date but I already knew I was in trouble

You had me melting with just one touch

This was no ordinary date

This was magic

In this moment I knew that this was it. You were it
